The World Bodypainting Association (WBA) was founded in Austria in October 2001, growing out of the annual World Bodypainting Festival. It brings together artists, enthusiasts, and companies worldwide through various events and education programs. While the WBA has already established bodypainting as an art form, we continue to connect creative minds and push boundaries.
Everybody interested in the art form of body- and facepainting, make-up and special effects is very welcome to join the association.
Because the WBA is such an important part in the World of Bodypainting, we want to show on our World Bodypainting Festival's website some selected competitions, where our organisation is also part of.
Details of these Events are available on the official Webiste wb-association.org

WBA Supported Events
The World Bodypainting Association (WBA) proudly supports a wide range of bodypainting events around the world and is pleased to share these events with our global community.
While these events are officially supported by the WBA, they are independently organized and hosted by various clubs, associations, companies, and event organizers. Each organizer is fully responsible for the planning, management, and execution of their respective event.
Through this collaboration, the WBA aims to strengthen the international bodypainting network, promote artistic exchange, and provide platforms for artists to showcase their talent worldwide.
Follow the link for more events. Here you can find WBA Events, WBA Supported Events, and WBF Events.
We are excited to highlight these opportunities and encourage artists and enthusiasts to participate and connect within our vibrant global community.
