After three wonderful years on the stunning island of Hvar, Croatia, we’re thrilled to return once again for the 4th Hvar Bodypainting Festival 2026!

The event will take place on June 13th and 14th, bringing together artists, models, and photographers for another unforgettable celebration of art, color, and community.

The first day will feature an exciting bodypainting contest with two categories inspired by a fresh new theme, while the second day invites everyone to a relaxed jam session by the sea.

Photographers are welcome too! Capture the creativity, emotions, and beauty of this unique open-air art experience on one of Croatia’s most beautiful islands.

Join a unique fashion photography experience on July 2, 2026, in the picturesque town of Sterzing/Vipiteno. Set against a magical backdrop of historic charm and breathtaking natural scenery, you will capture mesmerizing dresses, flawless makeup and hair, and high-fashion styled models in stunning indoor and outdoor locations. This intimate workshop offers exclusive access to professionally styled models, diverse high-quality portfolio content, and personalized shooting opportunities with expert guidance.

Also in 2026, Sterzing will once again be one of the proud host locations of the World Bodypainting Championships and the Jam Session!

The 2025 event truly struck a chord – with its vibrant atmosphere, stunning art, and enthusiastic audience – and was such a success that it’s already been confirmed by the city’s marketing team for 2026.

The Austrian Bodypainting & Make-up Awards will take place on November 14–15, 2026, at the Pyramide Vösendorf as part of the renowned Photo+Adventure fair. Organized by the World Bodypainting Association (WBA), the event brings together Austria’s and the international make-up scene with the world of photography, creating extraordinary and lasting visual art. The competition features four categories: Bodypainting, Beauty Make-up (Commercial Make-up), Creative Make-up, and Facepainting.

The World Bodypainting Association (WBA) proudly supports a wide range of bodypainting events around the world and is pleased to share these events with our global community.

While these events are officially supported by the WBA, they are independently organized and hosted by various clubs, associations, companies, and event organizers. Each organizer is fully responsible for the planning, management, and execution of their respective event.

Through this collaboration, the WBA aims to strengthen the international bodypainting network, promote artistic exchange, and provide platforms for artists to showcase their talent worldwide.
