Traditionally the most comprehensive, educational and training programs for Bodypainting, SFX and Airbrush including the increasingly areas of Make-up and Photography, which all take place during the pre week leading up to the World Bodypainting Festival. These classes are held in small groups by professional bodypainting artists and well known instructors. All courses have limited space, so it is recommended to book well in advance.
Please read through all the information below carefully!
- Class times: Classes start on Sunday July 8 – Wednesday July 11 from 10:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm (with the possibility of some going over a bit). Please check the exact times in the detailed class description as instructors may change times around. Please be on site 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class time!
Location: All rooms are located in the inner city Klagenfurt. In order to arrive to your workshop on time, please check the location map and rooms (available first week of May) Some classes will be held as outdoor classes, and meeting points for those classes will be communicated through email.
Booking: Individual Workshops, as well as the Academy Pass can be booked and paid through our Online Shop. Please note that all workshop descriptions and details are available on this website. Once booked you will receive a confirmation email via the online shop. For single Workshops your invoice is considered your official booking confirmation. For purchases of the WB Academy Pass, you will get a separate email confirmation.
WB Academy Pass: The WB Academy Pass includes 3 Day Bodies & Beats Festival Pass and 4-day workshop program. Depending on the availability, you can choose a different class each day (excluded are photo workshops – marked with the photo symbol; as well as special classes). Places are limited, early bookings of your class choice is recommended.
Costs: Costs for the single classes and the Pass will be kept affordable for everybody. An email confirmation will be sent after payment has been received. If the minimum number of participants is not reached or the class has to be cancelled, you will get the full payment refunded or can rebook without additional costs.
Availability: Every Workshop has a strict limited number of participants. We try to update the availabilities immediately. This is a first come – first serve policy.

Previous knowledge / Levels: To maximise outcome of the classes we have created a requirement A-C list below. We ask that you review beforehand if your skills fit into the single classes. In the detailed descriptions you will find the levels of the single classes:
A1: Beginner without or with little previous knowledge
A2: beginner with some previous knowledge
B1: Intermediates with some practical skills
B2: Intermediates with good practical skills (Hobby)
Catering: Drinks (water and juice) as well as fruits and snacks will be provided throughout the day. At lunchtime sandwiches (or something similar) will be delivered. Refreshments for the models will also be provided.
Equipment:The majority of materials and colors will be provided, but in some classes we ask the participant to bring additional materials - if available. If it is not possible to bring the requested things, please inform us well in advance. Participants are asked to bring their own brush sets, if that is not possible you can borrow a brush set at the registration desk (for a small deposit fee).
Models: In most classes participants will need their own models. It is up to the participants to find their models. Due to organizational reasons it is not possible for us to provide models!! (time and model needs can be found in the detailed description).
- Group Classes: We can organize private classes with our instructors for colleges; make up schools or other groups. Please write us a note with your request.
