Runway Shows 2014

The World Bodypainting Festival offers on the main days the possibility for fashion designers and textile artists to present their work on the main stage in Bodypaint City.


There are every day shows planned on the main stage in between of world championships and various music acts


The shows can present contemporary fashion, haute couture or wearable art. WBF provides a full promotion for the shows, full infrastructure and make-up artists and stylists.


The deadline for entries is 30. April 2014

Kate Kolmakova created her fashion label "Kati" in the year 2000. Her designs are always a chic, sophisticated, sexy and futuristic style. "Kati" presents a big variety of fashion shows in the Ukraine and has already got many national awards. Her dresses are very successful for fashion photoshootings, in magazines and for advertisements.

Body Art Fashion Show "Objectification - Let me count the ways" powered by Mehron

For five years Body Art Fashion has been combining the efforts of some of the best artists in the body art and make up industries to create spectacular fashion shows. These shows mix elements of art and performance like no other show. With music, video art, bodypainting, dance, fashion and more, this is the best opportunity to be inspired as to how wide reaching the possibilities of body art are. The 2014 Body Art Fashion show sponsored by Mehron is again under the direction of Karala B, artist and author. She will be leading a group of international artists such as Karen Yiu and Filippo Ioco to explore the dark and light sides of sexual expression. “Objectification, Let me count the ways” promises to be the most controversial and cutting edge show to date in what has been called the most interesting performance at the World Bodypainting Festival.

Irina Karina (Russia)

Irina Karina is a designer from Moscow. From 2009 she started to create special costumes and headpieces for circus performances and freak shows. In 2014 she create her label "Karina Irina" with a focus on corsets. Her new corset collection was created especially for the World Bodypainting Festival in Austria with the title "Pop Art a la Rus".
