Composition, construction, colour theory, perception and perspective are the alphabet and the most beautyful words in the artists language.
You cannot write a good poem in French if you do not know the alphabet and vocabulary. You can always try, there will certainly be people who find it funny and interesting. But if you have a talent for poetry you must first learn how to use the alphabet and language to magicly spin the words. If you want to break rules to create something new you must first learn these rules. Unfortunately insparation does not always guide us.

Synopsis:
- The aim of the workshop is to create realistic looking three dimensional extensions to the body using only a minimum of simple mould making techniques.
- This workshop is a chance for beginners to overcome their reservations against laboratory work and chemicals.
- Appliances and moulds for arms, legs and chest will be created in teamwork.

Mainly focusing on representational images painted on the skin. This class will explain highlighting and shadows and the need for contrast in order to bring a real sense of three dimensionality to the image. The class is aimed at intermediate to advanced standard and assumes a basic understanding of brush & sponge technique.
